Gundark steak was a dish that was served in the officer's mess hall on the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Avenger. The human garbage collector Carl Ashon observed steaming gundark steaks while looking jealously at the food served in the officer's mess in the aftermath of the Battle of Hoth.[1]
