The Guardian Mark II Droid was a model of canine-shaped security droid developed by Cybot Galactica. It was a variation of the famous GV/3-series guardian droid.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Guardian Mark II Droid appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[2] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] The Guardian Mark II Droid was added to the game with the release of the Game Update 12, on August 10, 2009.[4] The droid was designed by artist Christine Chugon.[5]
