Grovo was a rancor from Dathomir that lived during the Galactic Civil War.

Behind the scenes

Grovo appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] Grovo and Axkva Min were added to the game with the "Publish 5" update, released on December 16, 2003.[3] Grovo was removed from the game when Axkva Min was included in the eponymous "Heroic Encounter,"[4] upon the release of the "Chapter 7" on November 1, 2007.[5] Grovo was in fact replaced by another rancor named Gorvo.[4]
