The groundquake machine was a was a technology created on Dalna by Zadina Mkampa with the help of Avon Starros for the purpose of terraforming. The machine was powered by Starros' Sunvale crystal and its activation caused massive groundquakes on Dalna causing the planet to be evaucated.^[1]
