Green Five was the call sign of the fifth member of Green Squadron. There were a number of starfighter squadrons with this name, and several pilots went by the call sign Green Five.
History
Habeer Zignean used the call sign during the evacuation of Hoth.[1]
After the Battle of Hoth, Olin Garn flew an X-wing as Green Five in the Battle of Hospital.[3]
Years later, New Republic pilot Kell Tainer flew as Green Five during a simulation exercise to qualify for Wedge Antilles's new squadron.[2]
