"For the removal and control of: bladderworm, crop microserps, multilegged throat croakers, intestinal fangworm colonies, lesser and greater nasal nesting spit-crawlers, cranial nodular worms."

The greater nasal nesting spit-crawler was a type of parasitic worm of the spit-crawler variety. It could infest the snouts of the domesticated species known as happabores, which were found on planets across the Western Reaches. Along with lesser nasal nesting spit-crawlers, greater nasal nesting spit-crawler infestations could be treated with Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer, a Galacti-Stok product that contained Trestibinexocycline 5-Gamma, thlank oil, greel-root acid and forage products. The slurry formulation of the dewormer had instructions recommending both types of spit-crawler as targets for the product's use.[1] By 34 ABY,[2] the scavenger Rey had found a copy of the slurry formulation instructions while living on the desert planet Jakku.[1] She[3] then included the instructions alongside information about happabores on Jakku in a survival guide that she compiled.[1]

Behind the scenes

Greater nasal nesting spit-crawlers were mentioned in Rey's Survival Guide, a 2015 replica journal written by Jason Fry.[1]
