The great hunt was the third part of the Crowning Convocations on Siline. It involved the combatants to hunt the ericadi, the planet's most dangerous predator. If multiple winners emerged, they would duel until only one remained. In earlier times these competitions had been deadly, but in more recent times, partially due to environmental concerns, the ericadi were tagged instead of killed and the combatants could use hummers in emergencies, that would ward the ericadi off. The more recent great hunts took place in the hunting arena.[1]
