The Great Western Sea was a sea located on[1] the Core Worlds[2] planet Coruscant, situated far from the world's Jedi Temple.[1] In 33 BBY,[3] Jedi Master Yaddle thought about the sea while working on legal duties within the Temple, reflecting on how she felt she was drowning in details.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Great Western Sea was mentioned in The Living Force, a 2024 novel written by John Jackson Miller.[1] The Great Western Sea first appeared in the Star Wars Legends continuity in Before the Storm, a 1996 novel by Michael P. Kube-McDowell.[4]
