Grand Moff Tarkin's office[2] was located at the heart of the Federal District on the Imperial capital of Coruscant. It could only be accessed by a secret code that changed each day, and was guarded by a phalanx of death troopers.[1]Between around 8 BBY and 2 BBY,[3] an urn which[1] supposedly contained the ashes of Krestrel D'Naran, the archrival of Jabba Desilijic Tiure,[4] was discovered and given to Tarkin after the Millennium Falcon, the starship of the smuggler Han Solo who had been hired by Jabba to retrieve the urn, was impounded by the Empire. Sometime afterwards, Solo, Chewbacca, and Phaedra planned to break into the office and recover the urn.[1]
