Gran was the language of the Grans from the planet Kinyen. It was also exported to Gran colonies such as Malastare and Stend IV.[1]

Many Grans learned to speak Basic. However, they also tried to make their servants, such as the Dugs, learn Gran language. The language had a written form.[1]
