After the onset of the Clone Wars, a medal was awarded to new clone cadets upon graduation from their training at the Tipoca City Military Complex on Kamino, after which they became official clone troopers.[2] After successfully completing the Citadel Challenge, the cadets of Domino Squad all received medals, at which time CT-782, nicknamed "Hevy," entrusted his medal to the malformed clone, 99, as a symbol of their friendship.[2][1]
