The Goshyn system was located in the Tolonda sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It contained the Goshyn Detention Center, an asteroid used by the Galactic Empire as a prison.[2]
Years before[3] 9 ABY,[4] the Human smuggler Billey was imprisoned at the Goshyn Detention Center.[2] Following his release, Billey continued his smuggling operations, using a transport starship named the Goshyn Queen.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Goshyn system was introduced in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square Q-18.[1]
