- "You are on our ship, the Glimmer of Hope. We found you like this on a very unpleasant planet."
- ―Dee-Four to Lony Coleema
The Glimmer of Hope was a starship that served in the navy of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[1] Between 2 BBY and 4 ABY,[2] Grand-engineer Lony Coleema was kidnapped by the IG-88 assassin droid IG-88 after providing information about the Galactic Empire to the Rebel Alliance. The droid brought them to the Holowan droid foundry on a planet to access their brain and acquire the information.[1]
However, Coleema managed to free themselves, along with Are Zero Are Zero, a reprogrammed protocol droid the engineer had found in the foundry. Are Zero Are Zero sent a distress signal to the Glimmer of Hope, and the droid and Coleema were rescued by rebel spy Alexsandr Kallus and protocol droid Dee-Four. Back on the ship, Dee-Four informed Coleema that they had found them on a planet and brought them aboard the Glimmer of Hope. The grand-engineer answered that they wished to go home. The ship was colored yellow on the inside.[1]
