A glaive was a type of extended melee weapon consisting of an elongated shaft with a curved blade attached at the end, allowing for a longer range of attack than traditional swords. They could be used during combat, as well as when hunting animals. These weapons were used sometime during or after the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and reconstituted Sith Empire.[1]
