Gilaad Pellaeon was a clone of the naval officer Gilad Pellaeon. He was cloned by Grand Admiral Thrawn after the creation of Jaacen, a clone of Jedi Jacen Solo.[2]

Gilaad Pellaeon was mentioned in "An Apology," a short story by Timothy Zahn that was released on April 1, 2012 as an April Fool's Day joke.
