Giju plot 773/B was a star chart that shared its name[1] with the planet Giju.[2] The uncharted planet Hoth[1] in the Anoat sector of the Outer Rim Territories[3] was absent from the plot and was also missing from the Nav Guild's release 5572.C5.[1] At some point between 0 ABY and 3 ABY[4] and following the start of the Alliance's Mid Rim Retreat, this absence was noted by Alliance to Restore the Republic Corporal Purpruff in a scouting log entry she created regarding Hoth while scouting it as a potential location for a new rebel base. The Alliance then chose to create Echo Base on Hoth. Purpruff's scouting log entry was later included in the collection of rebel documentation known as The Rebel Files.[1]
