The Giant Decay Mite Cave was a cave west of the city of Dearic on Talus. It was populated by giant decay mites. Scientists believed that something in the rock of the cave had triggered these impressive changes within the insects.[1]

The Giant Decay Mite Cave was a location in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] This location was added to the game with the update named "Publish 1," released on August 3, 2003.[3]
