Gerzob was an astronomical object[2] located in the Outer Rim Territories' Gerzob system.[1] It was the homeworld of the creature known as the Yellow-Bellied Green-Proboscis Marsupial.[2]
Behind the scenes
Gerzob was mentioned in "Revelations," a 2005 Wizards of the Coast roleplaying adventure authored by Margaret Heintz that served as the second installment of the Polarization trilogy of the Living Force campaign.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Gerzob system, and therefore the celestial body, in grid square R-18.[1] Although the StarWars.com Online Companion to that book later placed the Gerzob system in the Hunnoverrs sector,[3] the 2012 The Essential Atlas Extra: Outer Rim Sectors feature of the Online Companion established that the sector and grid square R-18 did not, in fact, intersect.[4]
