The Gertafuu system was a Wild Space star system.[1] The sixth orbital position within the system was occupied by the frigid astronomical object Gertafuu VI. The latter was inhabited by members of the sentient Aqualish and Whiphid species.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Gertafuu system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed it within grid square S-18.[1]
