The General Dodonna was a USV-5 Modified Landspeeder owned by Hilbrun's family and crew. It was parked in the city of Mos Espa on Tatooine sometime after the Battle of Yavin in 0 BBY, during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Marked with Alliance symbols, the speeder was named after General Jan Dodonna of the Rebel Alliance. The speeder had a metallic blue color, with purple markings. Its doors were welded shut.

The television series The Dukes of Hazzard prominently featured a vehicle that also is named after a notable general, is painted with symbols aligning with that general's allegiance, and has doors that are welded shut. Other parallels with the TV show are Hilbrun's companions Eyleen and Tiomvo having originally been respectively named Daezii Mae and Kleetuz, variations on the show's characters Daisy and Cletus; and Eyleen sporting Daisy Duke's iconic shorts.
