Gavas-Eclat was a neighborhood on Level 3215 of the ecumenopolis that covered the planet Coruscant. The neighborhood contained lower-class apartments and reduced-capacity industrial areas with urban blight seeping between them, bringing with it criminals who shook down the hard-working denizens of Gavas-Eclat for what little they had.[1]
During the reign of the Galactic Republic, the human Tanivos Divo was born in Gavas-Eclat, and grew up there watching his father extorted by thugs through intimidation. His childhood in Gavas-Eclat hardened Divo and instilled a sense of justice and fairness in him that led to him becoming an inspector of the Coruscant Security Force in later life.[1]
Behind the scenes
Gavas-Eclat was first mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
