The Gateway of Tantellus was a location. According to a legend that the Jedi explorer Joria Skarl learned from the Phoolian Monks on the planet Bartool, the ancient Sith Lord Darth Ravi conquered a domain in the farthest reaches of Wild Space, from the Gateway of Tantellus to the mouth of the Rivellian Cascade. Skarl later recounted the tale in a holocron that would eventually be stored in the Jedi Archives within the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. During the High Republic Era, Jedi Knight Reath Silas listed to the holocron during his investigation into the Rod of Ages and showed the tale to Padawan Amadeo Azzazzo, including the part mentioning the Gateway of Tantellus.[1]
