Darth Ravi, known as Darth Ravi the Bold, was a Force-sensitive Sith Lord considered ancient by the time of the High Republic Era.[1] The Echo Stone was hidden from Darth Ravi on Angcord.[2] Darth Ravi was a powerful Sith Lord in the dark side of the Force. He was a feared lightsaber duelist and was skilled in both Force lightning and telekinesis.[1]

Darth Ravi was first mentioned in a flashback in the comic one-shot The High Republic Adventures: Quest of the Jedi, written by Claudia Gray and published by Dark Horse Comics[2] on April 26, 2023.[3] Prior to the comic's release, an excerpt of the one-shot which included mention of Darth Ravi was released as part of an article on the official Star Wars website on April 9 of the same year.[4]
Ravi later appeared for the first time in the first issue of the comic miniseries Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures – Echoes of Fear, written by George Mann, and illustrated by Eduardo Mello.[1] After making his visual debut via Eduardo Mello's work on the comic's cover, which was revealed before the comic's release on Dark Horse Comics' website,[5] the comic was officially released on September 4, 2024.[5] However, it saw an accidental early release on August 21 of that year as its contents were featured in the digital edition of The High Republic Adventures (2023) 9.[6]
