Garrote (attack cruiser)

The Garrote was an attack cruiser of the Imperial Navy. After the Battle of Jakku, the cruiser was sent to hide in the Queluhan Nebula along with other ships belonging to the remnants of the Galactic Empire. Commander Nash Windrider was promoted as the Garrote's Flight Commander. The ship carried TIE fighters in its docking bay, and Windrider had his own office adjacent to the hangar. As the Imperial holdouts concealed within the Queluhan Nebula mustered their forces for an impending assault against the New Republic, Commander Windrider noted that although being assigned to an attack cruiser might have previously been looked upon as a step down, given his previous assignments aboard Star Destroyers such as the Executor, the Garotte was a vessel of strategic importance that Nash took pride in readying for the renewed war effort, considering it a step towards receiving his own command.^[1]
