Garollian ghost vipers were creatures[1] native to a location within the Garollia system[2] of the Expansion Region's Baroli sector.[3] The ghost vipers had tongues that they could move rapidly. While engaged in a lightsaber duel against the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Separatist attack on the planet Coruscant[1] in 19 BBY,[4] Count Dooku mentally compared Kenobi's lightsaber attacks to the quick movement of a ghost viper's tongue.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Garollian ghost viper was first mentioned in the 2005 novelization of the film Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, which was written by Matthew Stover.[1]
