The Gambol[4] was a YV-865 Aurore-class freighter owned by the circus master Preigo and his group of performers.[2] In 20 BBY,[5] the circus was traveling on Florrum to perform for Hondo Ohnaka and his pirate gang. On their journey, they met a group of Jedi younglings, who pretended to be professional performers, using their Force powers to perform tricks that won them positions. However, things went awry when the younglings messed up his show, and Preigo launched his ship off of Florrum to avoid the wrath of the pirate.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Gambol was named by Tim Veekhoven as part of the lore he introduced while writing the Build the Millennium Falcon magazine.[6]
