The galaxy guzzler was a liquidized meal that was considered a favorite of the planet Tatooine's locals. Its liquid form was primarily attributed to the high temperatures caused by Tatooine's twin suns—Tatoo I and Tatoo II—and was intended to maximize liquid intake. Alongside the ruby bliel and the dusty dazzler, it was among a variety of liquid foods that could include liquidized fruits or vegetables mixed with water.[1]

The galaxy guzzler was mentioned in the section "Last Course" of issue 131 of the magazine The Official Star Wars Fact File,[1] which was written by Iain Lowson[2] and published by De Agostini around June 30, 2004.[3]
