Galactic Exploitation Technologies security team five-niner was a formation of six Mandalorian mercenary Bes'uliik starfighters working for the corporation Galactic Exploitation Technologies in the Chiloon Rift nebula.[1]
In 45 ABY, Galactic Exploitation Technologies security team five-niner lured the YT-1300 light freighter Millennium Falcon, operated the businessman Lando Calrissian and miner Omad Kaeg, and a Miy'tari Scout starfighter piloted by Jedi Knights Ben Skywalker and Tahiri Veila, into an ambush by broadcasting a false RiftMesh distress call from the remains of the the StealthX starfighter of the Quest Knight Jedi Ohali Siroc. The Mandalorians were defeated in the resulting space battle.[1]
