GG-class serving droids were a type of service droid.[1] In 11 BBY,[2] a GG-class droid worked in the residence of the mayor of Gorse City on the planet Gorse. The droid carried a tray of drinks for guests during a celebration held at the residence following the death of Count Denetrius Vidian.[1] Following the Battle of Yavin, a GG-class droid was present during the wedding of Moff Jaccun Pereez's daughter, Famma, to Commander Yendiv Bensek, where the droid acted as a spy for Inferno Squad.[3]
Behind the scenes
GG-class serving droids first appeared in Legends in Knights of the Old Republic 11, and were introduced into canon in the 2014 novel A New Dawn. Both works were written by John Jackson Miller. A GG-class serving droid later appeared in the 2017 novel Battlefront II: Inferno Squad, by Christie Golden.
