G-12 was a model of service droids used by the Krath in the Iron Citadel, also used by them for torture. They were equipped with a Holorecorder.[1]

It was such a droid where Ulic Qel-Droma recorded a secret message to captive Nomi Sunrider, which however was intercepted by Satal Keto and Norgor, confirming his suspicions that the Jedi was not really a rogue, but a spy.[1][2]

Behind the scenes

The G-12 first appears in the fifth issue of the Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi – Dark Lords of the Sith comic series. Its model designation was first heard in the Tales of the Jedi: Dark Lords of the Sith audio drama.[1]
