The Fyyrsprus were a small species of humanoid reptilians. Members of the species were harmless but clumsy. At some point by the time of the existence of the New Republic, a group of Fyyrsprus technicians carried out several repair attempts on the custom-built light freighter Starcat of the Happy Blasters mercenary group. All the repair attempts were inadequate, leading to the Happy Blasters' Human technician Mac organizing efforts by the mercenary group to eradicate the Fyyrsprus.[1]

The Fyyyrsprus were mentioned in "Scouts' Dispatch," a feature written by Peter Woodworth and published in the May 1997 thirteenth issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal magazine.[1]
