This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

A futon was an item that could be hung out to dry. When the former Sith known as "the Ronin" was chased by Imperial troops in the Osou settlement on the Outer Rim planet Genbara, blasterfire was aimed at shadows that turned out to be merely a hung futon drying near an open window.[1]

Behind the scenes

A futon appeared in the 2021 non-canon novel Ronin: A Visions Novel, written by Emma Mieko Candon.[1] In the real-world, a futon (Japanese: 布団) is a Japanese type of bedding consisting of a mattress and a duvet.[2]
