A fusion disk was a small device which had a small charge attached to it. When the disk made contact with another surface, the charge ignited, causing the disk to fuse itself[1] to any metallic surface. Fusion disks were used by power harpoon launchers to allow tugs and airspeeders to two cargo modules and skiffs.[2]
Commander Beryl Chiffonage devised a tactic that was used by the Rebel Alliance to trip the All Terrain Armored Transports that utilized tow cables attached to fusion disks.[1]
