Frist wolves were a type of wolf native to the Mid Rim planet Trandosha. They were hunted by the native Trandoshan species, whose culture was firmly rooted in hunting, often with the aid of Trandoshan hunting hounds.[1]

While searching for a Nihil sniper aboard a derelict Hutt Clan ship[2] in 232 BBY,[3] Trandoshan Jedi Master Sskeer stated he would need to do so like his ancestors had hunted frist wolves. After he discovered the Nihil's blaster on the ship's floor, Sskeer referred to the sniper as a frist wolf who had dropped their blaster.[2]

Behind the scenes

Frist wolves were first mentioned in the second issue of the 2021 comic series Star Wars: The High Republic, released as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[2] Phase I.[4] The issue was written by Cavan Scott and published by Marvel Comics on February 3, 2021.[5]
