Friday,[1] sometimes shortened to Fri,[2] was a day of the week.[1]
A poster in the Bilbousa Bazaar showed a a silhouette of a feminine looking Twi'lek doing a pole dance, with a Huttese caption reading "Dancers every FRIDAY NIGHT!!"[3] The Twi'lek poster also appeared on the door leading out of the latrine at the 79's cantina on Coruscant.[4]
Behind the scenes
Friday was mentioned in the 2022 non-canon video game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, in which Yarael Poof brings up his anxieties about casual Friday should the player refuse to help him switch places with his Kaminoan counterpart.[5]
Non-canon history
Friday was observed on Kamino. Some Fridays were designated as "casual," meaning that individuals were expected to dress in more comfortable clothing. During a misadventure in Tipoca City after having been mistaken for the Kaminoan data manager Rala De, Jedi Master Yarael Poof worried that his Jedi robes would be considered inappropriate attire for an upcoming casual Friday.[5]
