This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy.[1] Freedi Pamular was a member of this species.[2]
Biology and appearance
This bipedal species[1] was distinguished by their large builds and beige skin. They could speak the language Narkinian.[2]
Species in the galaxy
A member of this species fights back against the Pykes on Kessel
In 10 BBY,[3] a member of this species was enslaved by the Pyke Syndicate on the planet Kessel, being freed and engaging in a revolt during a Coaxium heist performed by the crew of the Millennium Falcon gone wrong.[1] Later, in 5 BBY,[4] a member of this species named Freedi Pamular and his Keredian brother Dewi were fishing by a quarry lake on the small moon Narkina 5 when they captured the fugitives Cassian Andor and Ruescott Melshi, who had been trying to steal the pairs' quadjumper.[2]
Behind the scenes
The sculpt for this species on the set of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
The species briefly made their onscreen debut in the 2018 Anthology Series film Solo: A Star Wars Story,[1] before being fully showcased in the eleventh episode of the first season of the television show Star Wars: Andor, which was written by Tony Gilroy, directed by Benjamin Caron, and released on November 16, 2022.[5] The design was originally created for[6] the 2016 Anthology Series film,[7] Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but did not make it into the final cut of the film. Plans were then made to show off the design during the Kessel sequence of[6] Solo: A Star Wars Story,[1] Solo: A Star Wars Story, with the Andor Season 1 trivia erroneously stating they were entirely cut from the film,[6] however they do make a blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance.[1]
