The Free Zone was a black market located on the Shadowport of Asylum. In 3631 BBY it was fought over by two rival syndicates, the Blast Crew led by Tanno Vik and the Starbolts led by Oggo. After the Commander killed Oggo, Vik took over the Free Zone, though his reign was short-lived, as Asylum was attacked by the Eternal Fleet shortly afterwards, beginning the Battle of Asylum.[1]
