Forward Air Control (FAC) was a part of the Grand Army of the Republic and, later, the Galactic Alliance Defense Fleet. FAC was present and in control of all space units at the Battle of Kashyyyk. A member of FAC ordered RC-1138 and Delta Squad, minus Sev, to pull out. Those orders came directly from Jedi Master Yoda and were to be followed through without disobedience. FAC were finally able to get the remaining Delta's to leave the planet for their next assignment. The FAC would later be incorporated into the Galactic Empire's air control.

In the Second Galactic Civil War, during Blockade of Corellia, FAC coordinated Galactic Alliance starfighters activity patrolling space around Corellia.
