As to the redirects to this page, I would suggest the following:

  • Wookieepedian and Wookieepedians: Retarget to Wookieepedia. Both are potential search terms and should send the reader somewhere other than a search page. The former also is showing over a thousand links from an old implementation of the welcome template.
  • Wookipedian, List of Wookieepedians, WP:W, and List of Users: Delete. The shortcut would obviously go with the page it's attached to and is only linked from the shortcut directories; the rest are not linked from anywhere and are unlikely to be used as a search term.
  • Wookieepedia:Users and Wookieepedia:Autoconfirmed users: These are tricky. Both appear to have no links to them, yet both are linked to from the MediaWiki interface (see Special:ListGroupRights) and thus must point somewhere. I suggest creating a page similar to wikipedia:Wikipedia:User access levels and retargeting these redirects to point to the appropriate sections on that page, though I'm open to other suggestions.

    • As an example, Template:W is currently linking to Wookieepedia:Wookieepedians, kind of suggesting user should add themself into the list. Should Wookieepedia:Wookieepedians by region replace it in there (and other similar places) perhaps? I would say "why not!" (: –Tm_T (Talk) 19:38, March 9, 2011 (UTC)

        • So we're back in my initial question, what would we do with it? Without clear purpose, and without use and promotion based on this purpose, it's just one more forgotten page which isn't really used to anything.
