Warsie (talk - history - links - logs)
Not sourced at all. Doesn't seem to have much merit when it comes to the wiki. Also, the term is not nearly as big as "Trekkie" and I've seen just as many instances of "Warrie" over the years as this one. Full of speculation/OR. To be honest, this article will only remain a magnet for said non-verifiable information as long as it exists. Graestan(Talk) 23:26, 14 May 2009 (UTC)

- Never heard the term before today. JMAS Hey, it's me! 23:58, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- Extremely per JMAS. I'd actually not heard it until I came here a few years ago. Before that I heard "Starrie" and "Warrie" frequently, but nothing came close to "Star Wars geek," which is by far the most common. Graestan(Talk) 00:03, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
- I am a "Star Wars freak" thank you, not geek! :p - JMAS Hey, it's me! 00:14, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Comments
- I'm apparently in the minority who HAS heard this term, several times, though it was almost always as an on-the-spot nonce word used in contrast with "Trekkie." It gets a fair number of Google hits, but I don't see anything we'd call a valid source on the first page or two. So . . . it definitely shouldn't stick around as an article on its own, but I think a merge to List of terms in Star Wars fandom might be warranted based on the Google hits, rather than outright deletion. Am I way off base here? jSarek 06:00, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
