Unidentified stormtrooper searcher (history - links - logs - delete - protect)
I went over the episode, had to actually rewatch parts several times because I wasn't too sure if I found the correct character. From a point of view from inside the Bridger household looking out through a window, two stormtroopers are searching alleys when one, further away and a tad bit less noticeable, tells the other, "Over here." The character in the article has a screen time of around 3-4 seconds. The character has no other dialogue except those two words, has no significant plot importance, has no notable actions, has no unique BTS info that I could find in the episode guide or rebels recon, and as such, in my opinion, is not noteworthy and does not need an article.--Vitus InfinitusTalk 03:02, May 23, 2018 (UTC)

- Precedent for keeping a character with lines is nonbinding and, as Toprawa points out, not enshrined in Notability policy. We have a TC process so that we can evaluate articles case by case. Regardless of past TCs, when I evaluate this article on its own merits, I find it lacking anything to justify its existence. If you believe the article adds value to Wookieepedia, you should absolutely vote Keep. But If you find the article inessential and vote Keep merely due to precedent, you create additional precedent to keep future articles of equally dubious value. (And arguing to keep an article just because other similarly unworthy articles exist is absurd: that logic would mean all TC nominations should fail until the One Great Nomination that includes all non-notable topics at once. And I sure don't want to read through that nomination.) Asithol (talk) 07:37, June 1, 2018 (UTC)
Keep
- I'm voting keep in the absence of established Notability rules for characters and/or stormtroopers, given that it has been one of our long established unofficial precedents to grant articles to characters with distinguishable dialogue. It's arbitrary to pick on just one article to delete, no matter how undeserving of an article it may be, when so many others exist for the same reason. The better thing to do would be to explore Notability rules, though that in itself is opening up Pandora's box. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 03:18, May 23, 2018 (UTC)
