Unidentified Stormtrooper 5 (Death Star) (history - links - logs - delete - protect)

He has no lines. He's just one of hundreds of nameless, faceless, non-notable stormtroopers on the first Death Star. Being shot by Han Solo does not make one notable enough for an article.

  • Wouldn't that perfect image go to waste, never to be seen again if we deleted this page? Also, there are so many unidentified Clone Wars characters who are so backgroundish that they should not even get an article, yet they have one. It would take forever to find and TC those articles, and I don't believe that this article is taking up so much space on Wookieepedia. --B32 I-find-this-atire-appealing 16:14, January 14, 2018 (UTC)
    • To address your first point, Banana: we don't create or maintain articles just to support images, it's the other way around. To address your second one: yes, there certainly are many articles on non-notable subjects, and it may take a really long time to even find them all, but rest assured: we will eventually hunt them all down and TC them, because doing so is required by our site policies and practices. We don't delete articles because they "take up space." We do so because we consistently follow our own rules. Imperators II(Talk) 18:20, January 14, 2018 (UTC)

    • I have great news, B32! There exist other articles that that image could hypothetically support. Just off the top of my head, it might be relevant for Stormtrooper, Stormtrooper/Legends, Stormtrooper Corps, Stormtrooper Corps/Legends, Stormtrooper armor, Stormtrooper armor/Legends ... find a spot in one of those articles (or another relevant article of your choosing) that could benefit from the image being used to support the article text, and either add it if there's room without crowding, or replace an inferior image with it. jSarek (talk) 08:55, January 19, 2018 (UTC)
