Unidentified Jawa smuggler (history - links - logs - delete - protect)
This article is a new article of a SWG TCG character who merely serves as a placeholder image on a card. While the character is indirectly referred to in the card text: ("The pack is a distraction. The true contraband is under his robes.") this information does not provide sufficient information to make the article more notable than the numerous other SWG TCG characters that have been deleted. Additionally, the Jawa being called a smuggler is not enough for the character to have an article, as we have already deleted numerous pilots, stormtroopers, and other individuals who can be considered to have a "profession." In short, there is simply not enough information to justify having an article for this character. There has also been a tremendous amount of precedent for deleting unnotable SWG TCG character, as I am listing below. If there are other similar articles that still exist, (including status articles) it is merely because they have not been TCd yet, so that is not a reason for this to have an article either.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 00:02, March 24, 2015 (UTC)

- Because I know JMAS, who nominated this article for CAN, is going to vote to keep this: There comes a point where we really need to ask ourselves, who are we creating these articles for? Are we creating them for our readers, or are we just creating them for ourselves, out of some misguided notion of "comprehensiveness." There might be one out of a million people visiting Wookieepedia who actually cares enough to stop and read this utterly pointless article. There is nothing significantly notable enough about this Jawa smuggler that makes him deserving of an article. The information should be covered under the Jawa article, and that's it. - I saw this nomination and wondered myself if it should get TC'd... Tope nailed it though. Manoof (talk) 04:31, March 24, 2015 (UTC)

Go head and speedy delete it now. I couldn't care less. Can anyone explain how these other [[Shoe/Legends|things]] are in any way notable? I imagine that same one person in a million will also come to Wookieepedia to read about shoes, and ears and shirts. - JMAS
Hey, it's me! 04:39, March 24, 2015 (UTC)
- Well, first off, this is a character and all of those are stuff that would fall under the "not a dictionary" argument. So they're completely different things from this. That said, shirt has this: "This shirt was made of plastic and had embedded electronic circuitry which displayed bright and colorful designs which changed whenever the shirt was poked with sufficient force. The shirt also emitted a pleasant "boop" noise each time the pattern changed." That's something unique to Star Wars, so it stays. With regard to ear and shoe, I see no reason to keep them and you're welcome to start a TC thread for them if you want, but the hyperinclusionists that dominate today's userbase will probably shoot such a nomination down. rolleyes.gif —MJ— Council Chambers 05:05, March 24, 2015 (UTC)
