Thyferran Home Defense Force (talk - history - links - logs)

Redundant article, considering Thyferran Home Defense Corps. At best, it should be merged without a redirect, however it would probably be best to simply delete it and expand the THDC article.

  • Um, I don't think CUSWE uses the phrase "Thyferran Home Defense Force." (We already have an article for the Thyferran Aerospace Defense Force.) If this name isn't canon, it shouldn't be kept as a redirect. -LtNOWIS 23:08, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
    • Just checked again, and you're right about the CUSWE thing, but there are other uses of it online, so I still think it should be redirected. KEJ 10:27, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Yes. I don't understand why there would be a problem with a redirect existing. If someone thought that was what it was called and typed it in the search bar, why shouldn't they be sent to the article they are looking for? If it's not canonical, it doesn't get an article. But there are plenty of non-canon things that are redirects. There is no such thing as a Wookie in canon, but if someone typed that in the search, they are obviously looking for Wookiee and are rightfully directed there. —Unsigned comment by Wildyoda (talk • contribs)
