Sith Warrior (Galen Marek) (talk - history - links - logs)
This is an article on a Force vision character and his fight with Galen Marek. He's not an actual being like the article leads the reader to believe. The BtS is also quite suspect. If I've left out any steps, please let me know.—Tommy 9281 05:43, March 5, 2010 (UTC)

- Though it should be ensured that every relevant information is added to the Galen Marek article. Pranay Sobusk ~ Talk 22:38, March 5, 2010 (UTC)
- We don't have a Darth Vader (Luke's Jedi Trial) do we? Same goes here. Also, per Pranay. - JMAS
Hey, it's me! 22:52, March 5, 2010 (UTC)
- Well we kinda do, with the Dark Spirit article, but that should be on the chopping block also, IMO.—Tommy 9281 23:02, March 5, 2010 (UTC)

- Marek's BTS is quite sufficient for this info. Chack Jadson (Talk) 23:53, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

- If we're keeping this, then I want to remake the Nostril of Palpatine article. And the Empress Bikini Leia from I think it was Planet of Twilight. Atarumaster88

- The article should definitely be re-written (possibly renamed) to highlight that this is not an actual person. The canonicity (is that a word?) needs to be clarified. In other words... it needs to be more encyclopedic, but it does belong. - Esjs(Talk) 22:17, March 5, 2010 (UTC)
- Strong Keep. It is canon, but I agree it needs a bit of a rewrite. We also have an article for the Dark Spirit. Dr. Kermit(Complain.) 22:29, March 5, 2010 (UTC)

- I'd have to say keep on this one, pending a rewrite. I've come across a few of these kinds of articles before. They should be sought out and placed in a category. NaruHina Talk
04:42, March 7, 2010 (UTC) - Keep and rewrite, possibly from scratch. Dangerdan97 00:50, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
- It needs a bit of a work-up, yeah. But there's no reason to just toss it.--Bella'Mia 07:55, March 8, 2010 (UTC)

- I'm still confused as to how this being "canonical" makes it worthy of a keep. We don't have articles on Mara Jade in Luke's Vision, or Dark Side Quinlan Vos (visual metaphor), so why would we keep this? Havac 07:36, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
- we do have articles on Dark Mara, Paffen, and Spectral Guardian...ASDF1239

- And Dooku's mystery clone. Just wanted to mention him, too.--Bella'Mia 08:13, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
- The Doppelganger of Dooku may or may not be a clone -- a distinct individual. The Spectral Guardians are spirits and a distinct phenomenon. Paffen is quite literally an article on a nonsubject -- he's explicitly an illusion; there's no way there should be an article on him -- and Dark Mara is the same video-game-mechanic vision-fighting that's been said should be deleted. So, great, you've found two articles that also shouldn't exist. That's not a justification for this article on a non-entity. Havac 23:24, March 8, 2010 (UTC)
- it doesn't matter if it exists as a concrete entity in-universe as long as its notable imo. it's a vision/manifestation of the force, if anything in that vein shouldn't have an article on it then Dream and Force Vision should be deleted as well, since they only exist in the user's mind and are therefore "illusions".
