The result of the debate was delete. (17-8, more than 2/3 in favor of deletion; also, Culator and INAN, who voted merge, are apparently indifferent and would settle on deletion as well. I can restore it to someone's userpage if they want to. - Sikon 17:17, 8 May 2007 (UTC).

Similarities between James Bond and Star Wars (talk - history - links - logs)

Obviously, the article needs a lot of work, and possibly a new name, but I still see potential. If kept, I (and others) could expand it significantly. -- Ozzel 22:25, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

  3. Per Havac. Star Wars actors being in other things does not warrant inclusion on our site. The Casino Royale article already covers the orgins of the name, although with insufficient linking. Well, I can't see anything there that's very important save for the fact that I'm certain the casino in Gambler's World was named for the casino in the Bond novel (and subsequent films).--LightWarden 22:59, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

    • But where would it end? Buffy/Legends|Buffy? Flash Gordon? Lord of the Rings? Jay & Silent Bob? Harry Potter? Ugh. And i don't think we should even have the Star Trek article. Unless there is a direct crossover (eg. The Muppet Show), other films/franchises shouldn't be here. --Azizlight 04:19, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
      • Perhaps it shouldn't end. Perhaps we should give each show that references Star Wars in some concrete way its own page. This page on Bond, though, is too lacking in anything concrete to keep in its current state even if we *were* to do this. jSarek 04:32, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
        • If we did keep this, we'd want spinoff articles for any TV shows or movie franchises which made extensive references. (Family Guy has a long section in the TV article, for example...)—Silly Dan (talk) 20:23, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Edit article about the actor or actress

We don't need this article. Why can't we just edit the actor or actress' article and say that they were in James Bond?--Windu223 21:37, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
