Real-world reference lists (television, movies, music, video games, webcomics, and misc).

These lists are getting way out of control. Many of the entries in them scream original research and almost none of them are sourced. I really don't think an encyclopedia such as Wookieepedia should be used to list references other media have made to it's subject matter. This is the job for sites like IMDB.   2. Source them more thoroughly if need be (though it seems most of them tell you the source right in the description, and thus are self-sourcing), but don't get rid of them. jSarek 04:41, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
  3. Sloppy and unwieldy as they may be, we can improve them. Deleting them is akin to euthanising a badly wounded person or animal because you can't be bothered to treat them. We could have some articles on the cultural aspects of Star Wars. Andykaitb 04:45, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

  8. These articles seem to be in bad shape, but I think if they could be cleaned up and cited with reliable sources, they could be a great asset to the Wook as OOU articles. Poor quality is a reason to improve the articles, not delete them. — Hunter Kahn 19:44, September 9, 2010 (UTC)

    Why don't we just start a group of editors to go through the lists to clean them up. It will take some time, but it's not impossible.   • Grrr, I'm torn. While I agree with the reasoning for removing these lists from Wookieepedia, I'd hate to see lists as comprehensive as these just disappear. I don't know of anywhere else on the Internet that has lists as "rich" as these. Is there a "Star Wars Trivia" wiki out there yet? - Esjs(Talk) 23:20, September 8, 2010 (UTC)
