Neimoidian brute (talk - history - links - logs)
I was going to CSD it, but decided to make a TC thread instead. We now have a precedent for deleting this kind of articles, so, in the good tradition of the List Purge, I suggest to "hunt them down and elliminate them!" MauserComlink 13:34, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
Redirect to Neimodian
#MauserComlink 13:34, 23 April 2009 (UTC)#Per precedent. Master JonathanJedi Council Chambers 16:39, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
Merge and redirect to Neimoidian Gunnery Battalion
- If the Neimoidian warrior article is getting redirected to Neimoidian Gunnery Battalion, the Neimoidian brute article should also get redirected there. Grand Moff Tranner

- Looking through the article history, and the history of the five billion other pages the article was at before it was moved here, it looks like most of the unique background is entirely made up. Havac 22:18, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

- Based on Havac's claim that the info is made up, then this is the best option. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 22:48, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
- This one makes more sence. MauserComlink 07:11, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

- Provided the legwork for the merge is done by the proposer. Graestan(Talk) 01:20, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
- There is already a subsection on brutes in the Neimoidian warrior article that gives all this info. If you merge the warrior and the battalion article, make sure you keep the Warrior article pics and behind the scenes as the warrior article is actually better quality than the batalion one. Also, If Threats of the Galaxy has no info on the brutes, I highly doubt the game did. Could someone who has the game make sure this info isn't completely made up? Keep
They were specialized Neimoidian warriors created by the Trade Federation to protect the leadership from threats... Unlike the Gamoriean Guards which shared no difference from any other Gamorrean, the Neimoidian brute was a specially bred and engineered Neimoidian. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 13:40, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- "Mercenaries, criminals, and professional soldiers" are specifically bred? MauserComlink 13:59, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- Continue the sentence and were forcefully experimented on to create the brutes' brutal mindset and hulking figure. So "bred" might not be the best word, but genetically engineered, yes. Meaning, they took Neimoidian mercenaries, criminals and professional soldiers and genetically enhanced and engineered them to be brutes. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 14:03, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm, if that is true then it might indeed deserve an article. But where does the info come from? Threats of the Galaxy says nothing about them on the Brute page. MauserComlink 14:08, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
- That, I have no idea. My guess would be from the video game. - JMAS Hey, it's me! 14:24, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
