Meco (talk - history - links - logs - delete - protect)/Meco Monardo (history - links - logs - delete - protect)
This one is unusual, as I'm not nominating a page to be deleted, but instead to be brought back from the limbs. With the latest This Week! in Star Wars mentioning Meco Monardo (misspelled Menardo), I was surprised to found out that while we had a page for Christmas in the Stars, an officially licensed product (and even for Jon Bon Jovi!), we don't have a page on its creator. I decided to make the page, unaware than it was part of a 2012 global TC (Forum:TC:Parodies) under the name Meco. Toprawa was duty-bound to delete the new page, but advised me there was legal ground for the TC decision (regarding this page only) to be overturned. It goes without saying that as a creator of an officially licensed product, he deserve to have his own page on Wookieepedia.NanoLuukeCloning facility 16:06, 5 December 2020 (UTC)

- Nano is correct. We deleted this mostly on the rationale that his disco parodies are unlicensed, but he is credited in the officially-licensed Christmas in the Stars, so he should have an article. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 17:40, 5 December 2020 (UTC)

Having no access to Christmas in the Stars, I have no idea if the page should be titled Meco or Meco Monardo, in respect to the Naming Policy. So, if someone is able to check it out, thanks! NanoLuukeCloning facility 16:06, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- According to this page at StarWars.com, it's Meco. Christmas in the Stars at Wikipedia says Meco Monardo, but the page that links to is just Meco. So I'd say there's compelling argument for just Meco. - JMAS
Hey, it's me! 18:08, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- Christmas in the Stars credits him as "Meco Monardo," which is what our article should be titled. His stage name for his more popular works was just "Meco," which is why you'll mostly see him referred to as that in other places, such as Wikipedia.
