List of Force-sensitive individuals by species (history - links - logs - delete - protect)

This seems to have been put through the compactor once before, back in the ancient days of 2009, in which the decision was "Keep". I come here before you to say that things have changed and this page is rather useless:

  • No acknowledgement of different continuities. The big canon/Legends division occurred in 2014, and this page ignores it, throwing together characters from both continuities willy-nilly. At the very least, if we need a list for something, it should be split, like the list of planets.
  • Categories: The big one is that this is, quite unambiguously, one thing where a list is totally unnecessary because we as a wiki have categories for this sort of thing. Here it is, in fact, with subcategories covering just about any subset of Force-sensitives that exists in this franchise, not to mention the categories for sorting individuals by species.

Frankly, this list is redundant on so many levels and, if I recall correctly, is against the site policy to try and only have lists when absolutely necessary. I say its day has come... to be gone. SilverSunbird (talk) 05:00, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

  6. I'm just not really seeing a need for this list in general. How many people are even trying to find a list of every Force-sensitive in the franchise organized by species? Keep

  1. I’m with Manoof. Given that subcategories such as “Force-sensitive Chiss” and “Force-sensitive Twi’leks” don’t exist, and DPL doesn’t fully work, I begrudgingly think we should keep this. We absolutely must split it into canon and Legends pages if we keep it.   • I was going to vote delete, but DPL didn't seem to work when I tried the categories Abyssins and Force-sensitives. Per the list, Quarmall should've been a result indicating subcats aren't included. I'm inclined to vote keep with perhaps Canon/Legends tabs unless someone can clear up the DPL issue, allowing us to quickly check. Manoof (he/him/his) (talk) 05:37, 18 October 2021 (UTC)
